About IIT Dharwad
IIT Dharwad is Karnataka's IIT, planted in the Hubli-Dharwad twin cities of North Karnataka — a region more associated with beedi workers and cotton mills than with engineering pedigree, which is exactly what makes it interesting. Established in 2016 under the mentorship of IIT Bombay, it is one of India's third-generation IITs and spent its formative years at the WALMI transit campus on NH-4 before PM Modi inaugurated its 470-acre permanent campus at Chikkamalligawad in March 2023 — a facility billed as India's first green and smart IIT [¹]. Academic life runs across eight B.Tech streams from Computer Science to Interdisciplinary Sciences, with around 870 students on campus as of 2024 [²]. Campus rhythm is set by Parsec, the annual techno-cultural fest (Parsec 6.0 ran January 2026 with a Wizarding World theme, 25+ events, and a ₹2 lakh+ prize pool [³]), and HarshTaal, the cultural fest. The institute is young enough that its alumni network is still in its first chapter — every graduate is, quite literally, a founding generation.
About our T-Shirts
180 GSM combed cotton, regular fit with a straight hem and half-sleeves cut slightly longer than standard so it doesn't ride up on the cycle to class. Machine-wash cold, tumble dry low. Each tee is printed using water-based inks that hold after 50+ washes. Designs are built around institute-specific slang, dept memes, and batch references — not generic college graphics you'd find anywhere else.

Do you deliver to IIT Dharwad in Karnataka?
Yes — we ship across Karnataka. Deliveries to the Hubli-Dharwad area typically take 4–6 business days from dispatch. When placing an order, use your hostel or on-campus address with your full name and room or flat number to ensure smooth delivery. If you're at the permanent campus in Chikkamalligawad, include the building or hostel block in the address field to help the courier locate you.
When is the IIT Dharwad convocation, and should I order in advance?
IIT Dharwad has held its convocation ceremonies on campus — most recently the 4th Convocation in August 2023 at the Central Learning Theatre. Exact dates for upcoming convocations are announced by the institute, so keep an eye on iitdh.ac.in. If you want hoodies, tees, or keepsakes for the occasion, we recommend ordering at least two weeks before the ceremony. Bulk orders for graduating batches need 10–14 days lead time from artwork approval, so plan early.
Do you sell merchandise for Parsec or HarshTaal?
We are not the official vendor for Parsec (the annual techno-cultural fest) or HarshTaal (the cultural fest) — those committees manage their own merch. What we offer is year-round IIT Dharwad-themed gear: campus prints, department designs, and Karnataka pride pieces you can wear any time of year. If your fest committee is looking for bulk custom merch for volunteers or attendees, reach out at bulk@iitianvibes.com and we can work something out.
Can we place a bulk order for a hostel, club, or department?
Absolutely. For orders of 15 or more units we offer bulk pricing and can print custom text — department name, batch year, club or hostel block. Lead time is 10–14 business days from artwork approval. Email bulk@iitianvibes.com with your quantity, design brief, and delivery deadline and we'll send you a quote. Because IIT Dharwad is still a young institute, we love working with its student bodies on merch that marks these early years.
Can I customise a piece with my department or batch year?
Yes. For bulk orders (15+ units) adding department text — like CS '27 or EE '26 — or a hostel block is straightforward; mention it when you email bulk@iitianvibes.com.
