About IIT Delhi
Carved out of the former Khirki Estate in South Delhi, IIT Delhi opened its gates in 1961 — the third IIT after Kharagpur and Bombay — and has spent six decades proving that a 320-acre campus wedged between Hauz Khas and the Qutub Minar corridor can produce world-changers [¹]. Rendezvous, the annual cultural fest born in 1976, floods the campus with music, theatre, and literary battles every October, while Tryst — North India's largest tech and management festival — draws 40,000 students each spring [²]. About our Varsity Jackets
Wool-blend body (60% wool, 40% polyester) with ribbed knit trim on collar, cuffs, and hem. Classic varsity cut — slightly boxy, with a snap-button front. The sleeves are synthetic PU for structure. Spot-clean or dry-clean only for the body; machine-wash the detachable patches separately. Chest carries institute initial, back has batch year or dept name — built to look good five years from now, not just at placement week.

How long does delivery to IIT Delhi hostels take?
Orders to Delhi-NCR typically arrive in 3–5 business days. For hostel delivery, use your full hostel name and room number in the address (e.g., 'Kumaon Hostel, Room 214, IIT Delhi, Hauz Khas, New Delhi – 110016'). If the security gate requires a phone number for parcel collection, add your personal mobile in the address notes at checkout — most couriers call ahead for campus drops.
When is IIT Delhi's Convocation, and should I order my merch before it?
IIT Delhi holds its Annual Convocation in August — the 55th was on August 10, 2024 and the 56th on August 2, 2025. We recommend placing your order at least 2 weeks before Convocation day to account for production and delivery. Standard apparel ships in 5–7 business days; custom prints with department or batch text need an extra 3–4 days.
Do you sell official Rendezvous or Tryst merchandise?
We are not an official vendor for Rendezvous or Tryst. Our IITD collection is year-round Delhi-themed merchandise — campus skyline tees, Hauz Khas-inspired prints, hostel-name hoodies — designed for students and alumni who want to carry the spirit of the institute beyond fest season. If you need official fest merch, check the respective fest committees directly.
Can I place a bulk order for my hostel, department, or batch?
Yes. For orders of 15 or more units, write to bulk@iitianvibes.com with your institute (IIT Delhi), quantity, preferred design, and deadline. Bulk orders typically have a 10–14 day production lead time plus shipping. We offer custom neck labels and packaging for large batches, and per-unit pricing drops significantly at scale.
Can I get my hostel name or department printed on the merch?
For bulk orders (15+ units), we can add hostel name, department abbreviation, or batch year — email bulk@iitianvibes.com with your specs. For single-unit customization (e.g., one hoodie with 'Karakoram' on the back), reach out to us via the Contact page and we'll assess it case by case; single custom prints are possible but carry a small additional fee and a longer turnaround.
