About IIT (BHU) Varanasi
Before most IITs were conceived, engineers were already graduating near the Ganga. Founded in 1919 by Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya as Banaras Engineering College — 75 students, 2 departments, 2 hostels — this institution predates the IIT Act by over three decades [¹ ²]. About our Varsity Jackets
Wool-blend body (60% wool, 40% polyester) with ribbed knit trim on collar, cuffs, and hem. Classic varsity cut — slightly boxy, with a snap-button front. The sleeves are synthetic PU for structure. Spot-clean or dry-clean only for the body; machine-wash the detachable patches separately. Bulk orders have a 10–14 day production lead time plus shipping. We offer custom neck labels and packaging for large batches, and per-unit pricing drops significantly at scale.
