About IIT Palakkad
Founded in 2015 as Kerala's first and only IIT, IIT Palakkad began life inside the Ahalia Health Heritage & Knowledge Village before moving to its own Nila campus in February 2019 [en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IIT_Palakkad]. Today the institute has fully settled into its permanent Sahyadri campus — 504 acres of eco-conscious infrastructure nestled at the scenic foothills of the Western Ghats, designed with net-zero carbon ambitions in mind [en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IIT_Palakkad]. The name Sahyadri itself is an homage to the mountain range that frames the campus, giving IITPKD one of the most striking natural settings in the IIT system. The institute offers B.Tech programmes across eight disciplines alongside M.Tech, M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees, and ranked 64th in NIRF Engineering 2024. Student energy peaks every year at Petrichor, IITPKD's annual techno-cultural fest — named after the earthy scent of the first rain — blending hackathons, robotics competitions, and cultural performances into a two-day celebration [petrichor.events]. About our T-Shirts
180 GSM combed cotton, regular fit with a straight hem and half-sleeves cut slightly longer than standard so it doesn't ride up on the cycle to class. Machine-wash cold, tumble dry low. How long does delivery take to IIT Palakkad's Sahyadri campus?

When is the IIT Palakkad convocation, and should I order merch in advance?
IIT Palakkad held its first convocation in 2019 (for the founding 2015 batch) and typically schedules its annual ceremony in the second half of the year. If you want personalised gear to wear or sell during Petrichor, our design studio lets you create it yourself in minutes — no minimum order required for single items.
Can we place a bulk order for our batch, department, or club?
Yes. For orders of 15 or more items, write to us at bulk@iitianvibes.com with your design requirements, sizes, and quantity. Bulk orders typically take 10–14 business days from artwork approval to delivery to Palakkad. We support group orders for convocation batches, department associations, hostel groups, and Petrichor volunteer or organiser teams.
Can I customise a product with my department, hostel, or batch year?
Absolutely. Our design studio supports full customisation — add your department (e.g., CSE, EE, ME, Civil), hostel name, batch year, or any IITPKD-themed text and graphics. You can upload your own artwork or use our AI design tools. Customised items are made to order, so please allow an additional 3–5 days on top of standard delivery timelines.
