Wool-blend body (60% wool, 40% polyester) with ribbed knit trim on collar, cuffs, and hem. Classic varsity cut — slightly boxy, with a snap-button front. The sleeves are synthetic PU for structure. Spot-clean or dry-clean only for the body; machine-wash the detachable patches separately. Chest carries institute initial, back has batch year or dept name — built to look good five years from now, not just at placement week.

IIT Dharwad is Karnataka's IIT, planted in the Hubli-Dharwad twin cities of North Karnataka — a region more associated with beedi workers and cotton mills than with engineering pedigree, which is exactly what makes it interesting. Established in 2016 under the mentorship of IIT Bombay, it is one of India's third-generation IITs and spent its formative years at the WALMI transit campus on NH-4 before PM Modi inaugurated its 470-acre permanent campus at Chikkamalligawad in March 2023 — a facility billed as India's first green and smart IIT [¹].
